Acoustic profile (AP+) with spring function
AP+ is a uniquely designed ceiling profile from Europrofil with a built-in spring function.
The profile is attached directly to the underlying structure, which must be stable and can consist of concrete, wood, or steel beams, for example. The profile is only 25 mm thick, resulting in a resilient suspended ceiling with minimal construction height. The profile's resilient function reduces both airborne and impact sound.
AP+ is mainly used in directly mounted ceilings, but can also be used for walls. The unique design contributes to improved sound reduction in both wall and ceiling constructions.
Advantages of AP+
- Minimal build height – builds only 25 mm
- Reduces air and step noise thanks to its spring-loaded function
- Used for ceilings but also for walls

Stability
The stable suspensions make the substrate virtually rigid both upwards and downwards, which means faster, easier, and safer board installation. The profiles are made of 0.6 mm thick sheet steel, which gives
a stable substrate and a good screw attachment that is also suitable for harder board materials such as fiber gypsum.
Screwing of sheet material
To simplify the installation of board material, the profiles in the system have wide contact surfaces. The primary and cross profiles are 60 mm wide and have a center mark to make it easier to align both profiles and board material. The wide contact surface allows for increased edge distance when screwing, which in turn minimizes the risk of cracked board edges.
Environment
The components are registered and assessed in
