CF Amplification Rule
CF is used together with UF in interior wall systems to enable increased wall height without adjusting the s-distance or dimension of the stud. CF can also be used for mounting heavier doors, or where a stronger wall construction is required for other reasons. CF is also used in the construction of burglar-proof walls in accordance with SSF. CF-1.0 replaces CF-1.2.
